1. Ashe, a champion tennis player, had a multitude of identities: athlete, advocate, philanthropist, and black man who lived through the Civil Rights movement. What identities do YOU have? List at least 10.

In groups, we'll discuss our thoughts on Turkle's TED talk about how we are more connected than we have ever been, and also more alone/lonely. Directions on how to rotate groups will be shared in class.
Conversation norms will also be discussed.
Turkle lists three fantasies she believes are perpetuated by technology. Which of these do you have bought into the most? Why is this fantasy attractive? What are the dangers of believing these things?:
